Introducing
Frances Moody
Your Conservative
Candidate
Frances has lived in Old Bracknell (North Lake)
for 17 years. She is a book keeper for a local
food retailer and is looking to set up her own
business locally.
Frances is already actively involved in the
community through her charity work both
nationally and locally having cycled 500km along the Nile for Mencap to helping set up the Berkshire Filipino Society and other local groups. She's also a supporter of
Bracknell based Beheard which helps people with learning disabilities and Youthline that helps our local young people.
Says Frances "I am passionate about the
Environment, we enjoy a lot of open space around here and I want to keep it that way. I was appalled when I heard Labour want to stack even higher density housing into Bracknell.
We have got to keep our parks and open spaces. The Town Council does a wonderful job of keeping them looking good and I'd
like to get on to the Town Council's
environment committee to keep the focus on Old Bracknell's important character.
I want to see more emphasis on respect and responsibility, my idea of a fair society is one where we can all
reach for excellence and not as Labour do, reach for average."
Frances' hobbies include Egyptology,
making silver jewellery (she has her own hallmark) and looking after Kevin, her cat.

Why I want to be your Councillor
Frances says "I'd like to share with you why I'd like to be your Councillor. it's not just about 'giving something back' as
important as that is.
I actually believe that if you want to change something you have to get
involved. I want to change how Old
Bracknell is represented. The Labour Councillors here have failed to get Old Bracknell punching above its weight like other wards. Do you feel that too?
I can communicate well with people. That is a key part of being heard, I want to use my skills to put Old Bracknell higher up the pecking order and to speak out and speak up for those
who can't.
Old Bracknell, our town and borough face unprecedented problems because of
government failings. It will be important that we have good strong councillors who can fight for our community.
It's time for us all to get involved, I believe this is how I can, with your help, make a
difference.
